About
Fresh Start Nutrition

I bring a unique combination of real-world experience and professional expertise to my work as a nutrition coach for cleaning professionals. I have over 20 years of hands-on experience in the cleaning industry, including residential and commercial cleaning, as well as working as an interior painter -another physically demanding trade that places significant stress on the body. I also spent 15 years as a cleaning business owner, giving me firsthand insight into both the physical and operational demands of this industry.

Because I’ve lived this work, I understand exactly what it requires from the body: long hours, repetitive movements, lifting, bending, and working through fatigue. I know how quickly physical strain can add up when the body isn’t properly supported.

Alongside my industry experience, I bring over 25 years of hands-on nutrition and fitness experience, and 10 years leading my own fitness and nutrition business. During that time, I have coached a wide range of individuals—from late teens to clients in their 90s—helping them build strength, energy, and sustainable habits that support real life, not perfection.

This combination of experience allows me to bridge the gap between physical work and practical nutrition. I don’t teach theory -I teach strategies that work in real cleaning schedules, real bodies, and real workdays. My approach is rooted in understanding the demands of physical labor and providing realistic, sustainable nutrition solutions that help cleaners work longer, recover faster, and feel better both on and off the job.

Your body works hard for you — fuel it accordingly.

With over 25 years of study and research, coaching others in person, and as an online coach, the greatest learning has been using myself as "practice," I've come to appreciate what's really important, with taking care of these vessels we have.

I've done the gym rat lifestyle; abs, fitness show, building muscle mass, running races, and biking while setting personal records, restricting what I ate, but for those of us who are done with nit-picky, micro-managing diets, I want to guide women how to function as intended while not obsessing.

Are you fed up with the lies that the diet industry conveys?

WHY ARE YOU HERE?

Nutrition for Energy & Stamina - Built for Cleaning Professionals

If you’re a professional cleaner, your job demands energy all day long - not just in the morning.
Yet most nutrition advice isn’t built for physical work, long hours, or busy schedules.

That’s why so many cleaners feel:

  • Drained halfway through the day

  • Sore and stiff after work

  • Exhausted with nothing left for life outside of work

  • This isn’t a motivation problem. It’s an under-fueling problem.

Why Diets Fail Cleaners

Restrictive diets, skipped meals, and low-energy plans might work short-term - but they don’t support physical labor.

When cleaners don’t eat enough or fuel consistently:

  • Energy crashes hit faster

  • Muscles and joints recover slower

  • Everyday tasks feel harder than they should

Nutrition should support your job - not make it harder.

Fuel for Workdays and Real Life

This approach isn’t about dieting or perfection.
It’s about:

  • Steady energy through long cleaning days

  • Better stamina so you’re not wiped out after work

  • Simple habits that fit real schedules

When your body is properly fueled, you don’t just work better -
you live better after the job is done.

Meet one of my clients, a mom on a mission, who put a stop to the yo-yo dieting.

Kristin... heres the success she’s had.

She’s a mother of three and a business owner with her husband. She previously was doing cardio six days a week, and deficit calories, she constantly watched her weight. After working with me, she added in healthy, nutritious foods and removed the food labeled with low-fat, no fat, and other ingredients that contained added preservatives and artificial sweeteners.

I also removed  2/3 of her cardio exercises and replaced it with 2 - 3 weight resistance exercises each week.

The results:  10 pound weight loss, a stronger firmer physique, better brain clarity, energy, and a resumption of her menstrual cycle. This shows that what she was doing previously was wreaking havoc on her hormones.
